Easter Notes from Gma and Gpa

I just got home from Meg's house and I found that I got mail! Two letters to be exact. I never get mail, so it was a joyous occasion. They were both address from my grandma's house. So I open one and it's the most darling Easter card and note ever. My grandma said she wishes me happiness and joy and a nice young man who will sweep me off my feet. Then I open the other one and it's from my grandpa. He wanted to send me his own. It was the sweetest thing ever I'm not gonna lie...there was a little glisten in my eye. And my grandma wished that a nice young man would sweep me off my feet...that means it's going to happen.
I need to keep a running log of all the wisdom that people give me. My Grandma and Kendall gave me great advice this week.

Loaf Day!

I know what you're thinking. What kind of day is a loaf day, and do I really want to know about it. Well I'll make things simple loaf day is the best day of the week. It started March 10, 2008. I was hanging on the forth floor of the Library with my home girls cind and meg...getting "the stare down" because we were being really loud and obnoxious. For some reason I really wanted a loaf of bread from sugar and spice so I kept bringing it up. FINALLY the girls acquiesced to my demand for a loaf and we journeyed to the Cougar eat. We all got loaves with honey butter and not only was the loaf delightful, we had the most fun ever hanging outside the wilk! We mostly met all of cindy's friends because everyone loves her. We talked to some guy named Kendall on the hill and asked if he would be weirded out if a girl sat by him and started talking to him. It is He that gave us the greatest bit of wisdom, and I quote, "Usually if a girl shows some interest in a guy, then he will ask her out." Hmm...it hasn't worked for me yet, but for some strange reason I trust Kendall. Well anyway, we loved the day so much that we decided to make it a tradition. LOAF DAY!! We get loaves every Tuesday and hang out on the grass in Brigham Square. It's my favorite day. As soon as it's over I'm looking forward to next weeks loaf day. The theme of this week's loaf day was Hott loaf day. We looked PHAT that day!

Hey quit hogging all the loaf!

It looks like cind doesn't have a leg...

Memory Lane

Today I was having deep conversation(like normal) with Cind and Mich and they made me realize that when college ends it's like a chapter in my life ending (cheesy I know). I don't want to forget all the people that I like the best. So I'm starting my blog with my favorite times/people at BYU.

Disneyland March 2008
Todd, Cindy Michelle and I took a road trip to Disneyland. I seriously LOVE these people. We had so much fun driving all night and being tired and silly. We saw the oscar mayer weinermobile on the freeway. Somebody may or may not have mooned someone. We went to balboa island and got balboa bars and frozen bananas. Then we'd come home at night tired as could be, but still stay up for a few more ours talking and being retarded. Best road trip ever!

I had to put this picture of the trip too. We loved tower of terror. I had a firm grip on Cind and Mich's legs the whole time. It made me feel secure, even though we kept dropping a couple stories at a time.

Geraldine's Bakery's Delights February 2008
After much deliberation I chose this picture of all three of us. We love to go to my mom's house to relax, watch movies in the theatre room, escape from provo and eat food. Sometimes I go by myself when I'm having a hard time and I need to spend time with my mom and Craig. The craziest fun happens when I bring these two along. Car dancing, singing along with Whitney Housten and Celine Dione, and of course good old Colbie Callait.

Sleeping Beauties February 2008
On this road trip Cindy, Michelle, Rachel, Todd, Mark Skinner, and Daren Hinton went to Mark's house in Lindon. His parents were out of town so we had it all to ourselves. SCANDELOUS eh. We made frozen pizzas, played trivial persuit(which by the way, i'm VERY bad at) and watched movies. When it was time for bed, Todd read us bedtime stories. In the morning we did our duties, like make breakfast(michelle, cindy and me) do the dishes(mark) be our servant(todd), We all made spanish names for eachother too. juanita, maria, rosalinda, catalina, javie, moses and pablo.

Cousins
Ashley is my cousin...well in a roundabout way. We met one night when we were set up on blind dates and have been friends ever since. She works in the Bensen building as the chemistry secretary, and I was alwaysin there for class and studying, so it was always a nice little break to run in and chat with her.

CHRISTMAS 2007!
This was the first christmas tree I've had. My mom gave me a bunch of christmas decorations and so we decided to go all out for christmas. It is my favorite time of year after all. We went to get a tree at home depot but didn't have a way to get it back so luckily my friend jason has a truck and he was kind enough to rescue us damsels in distress. Many other christmas traditions went down, like making gingerbread men that looked like us, and of coarse sugar cookies, and my birthday celebration at Olive Garden.

Sushi Night
Summer, Kim and I were roommates for the summer of 2007. We had so much fun...watching Oprah, just chillin and talking in our TV -less living room. These girls are histerical.

Ashley's Bridal shower
Melissa Lund, Michelle, Ashley Kearns, Jessica Salmon. We used to spend hours playing tetris while chatting or messing with all the daves. Vegas dave, DRI (david rishard iba) and david boyd. Michelle ashley and I used to have The Bachelor parties where we'd make eachother food and watch the Bachelor and then talk about how dreamy he is afterwards and other girly things too.

Tie Die Day
Amy Sue, Sara and I had cell bio together winter of 2007. That is were the fun started. We had manditory study session, which mostly turned into laughing and talking about the latest crush...while eating apples. I found out Sara was my cousin through facebook. We've been friends ever since. Amy Sue's on a mission and I miss her a LOT. But when she gets back we're going to go on a party cruise.

Group dates
Okay so excluding my ex, this picture has most of my favorite people from Lib Square. Kristen, Kamilla, Michelle, Virginia and I were all roommates and we planned some bangin good group dates like jazz games and halloween pumpkin carving. Russell Memory is one of my most favorite boys at BYU. He's histerical. Daren Mann is another favorite...even though recently he has taken to pinching my butt when I least expect it.. John Banfield is crazy, Jordan Mann is darling, and Ryan Schlappi is married.

Now after coming this far I realize I have too many favorites, so I'm just going to stop at that.

A Whole New World...

So here's the deal. I always thought that blogs were for people that are full of themselves, and I like to think that I'm not full of myself...so I never even thought about getting one. BUT then I read my friend's blogs and they made me laugh. a lot. So I'd like to revise my previous thought that blogs are for people that are full of themselves to blogs are like journals that everyone can see. I need all the motivation I can get to write a journal. SO here's the start of a whole new world. I have to reference Aladdin. He's the hottest Disney character.
